We took our daughter for lunch here today for her birthday, and I have to say that we’ve just had an amazing experience. We were afforded a very warm welcome, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Once seated, we were offered a choice of menu’s, and there was a good variety of food to choose from, including vegetarian options, and not just all fish!! The food was beautifully presented, and served by very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and I have to say, the food was absolutely incredible!! I would have no hesitation in recommending Fish on the Green to anyone looking for that special night out.
A few weeks ago I had dinner at Fish on the Green and it really lived up to the good reviews. The seafood was fresh and cooked just right, especially the scallops and sea bass. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I’d happily go back again soon.

I’ve waited years to go here. Fish on the Green has always had a great reputation and I finally got round to trying it with family. This place does not disappoint. Delicious food (try the monkfish) and lovely staff. Can’t wait to return and try more from the menu!
This is one of our favourite restaurant, usually you have to book 3 weeks in advance but was so lucky to get in today as we was in the area. My husband have his usually steak and I have my usual lobster service was excellent as usual too.
We had a truly superb meal at Fish on the Green. Our 1st visit. Each course was fabulous. The quality of the fish is top class and the staff were so welcoming , efficient & professional. There was a lovely atmosphere and it’s a cosy restaurant. We can’t wait to return!!
